Welcome to Connecting U

Live online support program for Autistic and Neurodivergent students at TAFE SA.

Whether you're new to TAFE SA or continuing your studies, Connecting U is a welcoming online program where you can connect with other students, explore support available at TAFE SA and build confidence for your learning. 


Semester 2 2026 registrations are now open

Registrations are now open for this semester's Connecting U online support sessions. You can attend one or all of them.

In this session, you will:

  • Meet like-minded students
  • Learn what support is available
  • Share experiences (only if you want to)

  • Learn about library support

  • Get started and stay on track

Designed to support Autistic and Neurodivergent students

The online program is designed to help you:

  • connect with other students
  • discover support available at TAFE SA
  • learn practical strategies for study and wellbeing
  • build confidence throughout your learning journey
  • take part in a way that feels right for you. 

You can:

  • register for free
  • join online using Microsoft Teams
  • choose the sessions that interest you
  • attend one session or all of them.

      • find useful study resources
      • use simple technology to support your learning
      • develop study habits that work for you.
    • Learn practical ways to:

      • get started when a task feels difficult
      • stay motivated
      • manage procrastination
      • build routines that support your study.
    • Depending on the session, you may also have the chance to:

      • book a Student Support appointment
      • learn about other support services
      • take part in activities that help you feel connected to the TAFE SA community.
