You’ve got to the interview stage, congratulations! Now it’s time to prepare.
It could be a face-to face or phone interview, it could be a video conference via ZOOM, or you may be required to submit a recording. Whatever way the interview takes place, preparation is key. From calming your nerves, to introducing yourself, dressing for success, body language, and researching the company prior to the interview to be fully informed, it all counts.
You can prepare for common interview questions such as “Tell me about yourself?” and “What attracted you to the company?” Also have a think about examples you can provide that demonstrate your skills. Doing mock interviews is a great way to prepare.
And remember the saying: “Be Yourself, but be your Best Self”. Employers will be looking for a glimpse into your personality, to help them identify if you will be a good for their organisation.
