If you use Microsoft Publisher for assignments, flyers, posters or other documents, there’s an important change coming.

Microsoft is ending support for Publisher on 13 October 2026. This means you may lose access to Publisher (.pub) files you still need after this date.

The good news is there’s still time to prepare.

Check your Publisher files now

Take a few minutes to look through your computer and folders for Publisher files you want to keep.

This could include:

• current study work
• documents you may need for future courses
• templates you want to reuse
• personal files you want to keep or edit.

If you find anything important, convert it to another file format before 13 October 2026.

Depending on what you need the file for, you can save or convert it to PDF, Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.
