National Reconciliation Week is just around the corner, and we’d love for you to be part of what’s happening across our campuses.

When: 27 May – 3 June
Theme: All In for Reconciliation - a call for all of us to come together, listen, learn and take action towards a more respectful and shared future.

What’s happening on campus?

We’ve planned events where you can experience First Nations culture, connect with others and take part in the week through food, music, activities and shared moments.

Adelaide City Campus

When: Wednesday, 27 May
Time: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm (Opening remarks at 11:30 am)
Where: Atrium (Smoking Ceremony will still be held outdoors at the Morphett Street Entrance)

Here is a sneak peek of what we'll have on the day:

• Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and Yidaki with Otis Carter
• VR cultural experience – Kaurna environment and lifestyle by Yerta Services
• Silk painting workshop by Kumarninti
• Free drinks and cultural talk (by Dragonfly Springwater)
• Free native tea tasting and cultural talk by Warndu Do Good
• Cultural Dance performance by David and the boys
• Live music by Mumma Blue and Jamie Law
• Free savoury and dessert tasting by Imchim Anyany
• Indigenous accessories and original artwork for sale
• Art/photography exhibition by
• Kangaroo Sausages and bush tomato relish available from the Snag Wagon
• Native Plant giveaway

The formal presentations in Adelaide will include an Auslan interpreter.                                                                                                                                                   

Mount Gambier Campus (Boandik Country)

The Mount Gambier event is a free public event, and everyone is welcome.
