Have your say: New Student Voice Policy

Your voice matters. We want to hear from you.

We’re developing a new Student Voice Policy and Procedure to make sure students are included in decisions that affect learning and the overall student experience. Before these documents are finalised, we’re inviting students to share their feedback.

What is the Student Voice Policy about?

The draft policy and procedure explain how we will:

  • ask students for feedback on policies, projects, and decisions
  • include student perspectives when changes affect students
  • work with student representatives to improve the student experience
  • make student consultation a regular and meaningful part of decision‑making

Why your feedback matters

Your feedback helps us:

  • understand what’s working well for students
  • identify what could be improved
  • make fair and informed decisions
  • create a better learning experience for everyone

All student feedback will be reviewed by the Student Voice Committee. The policy and procedure will then be updated, approved, and put into place.

Read the documents and share your feedback

You can read the draft documents below:

Once you’ve had a look, we encourage you to share your thoughts by completing a short, anonymous survey. Your feedback will help shape how student voices are heard now and into the future.

🗓️ The survey closes on Thursday, 15 May.
