Feedback for review of Verification of Identity policy and procedure

TAFE SA’s Verification of Identity policy and procedure are being reviewed.

We invite you to provide feedback to help inform the review process.

Listed below are the documents with track changes to ensure transparency:

Key changes

  • expansion on abbreviations used in the beginning of the document
  • additional options for three-point identity check once a student is enrolled:
    • preferred name (if listed in the student information system)
    • USI
    • SATAC number

The survey is anonymous and open to both staff and students. 

After consultation closes, the TAFE SA Student Voice Committee will review the feedback with TAFE SA. They will update the documents based on this feedback. The relevant delegations and governance groups will then review them before publication.

The survey will be open between Tuesday 17 March 2026 and Sunday 29 March 2026.
