OUTSIDE IN Returns to Adelaide Fringe 2026

Feb 20, 2026

A powerful, disability-led production championing inclusivity, creativity and authentic storytelling

TAFE SA is proud to support events that celebrate inclusion, diverse voices and the creative talents of people with disability. We’re excited to share that an inspiring show is returning to this year’s Adelaide Fringe Festival.

OUTSIDE IN, presented by Abundabiliteez Productions, will return for a special season at Nexus Arts as part of Adelaide Fringe 2026.

Abundabiliteez Productions is the newest disability-led, not-for-profit production company on the Gold Coast. The company was created to give people with disability a clear pathway into the arts. It celebrates the many talents, skills and lived experiences in the disability community. The creative board is made up of people who identify as having a disability. This helps make sure the company stays real, inclusive and representative.

A Story That Opens Minds and Hearts

OUTSIDE IN is a powerful one-man show. It is written and performed by Matt, a 38-year-old autistic actor. In the show, he shares his world through his own thoughts, feelings and experiences.

Since it first opened, the show has received strong reviews and warm audience feedback. Matt has been praised for his honesty, bravery and talent. Many people say the show stays with them long after it ends. It explores identity, acceptance and creativity. It also challenges stereotypes and starts important conversations.

More than just a performance, OUTSIDE IN is a form of disability advocacy and storytelling. It creates space for understanding, learning and connection.

Accessible and Inclusive Performances

To ensure accessibility for a wide audience, both matinee performances have been structured to support inclusivity with:

  • AUSLAN interpretation

  • Audio descriptions

Performance Dates:

  • Wednesday 25 February – 2:00pm & 7:00pm

  • Thursday 4 March – 2:00pm & 7:00pm

This is great for those who are passionate about the arts, advocacy and inclusive storytelling. Supporting disability-led creative work helps expand representation in our arts spaces and strengthens our broader community.

Let’s continue to champion diverse voices and celebrate the transformative power of the arts.
