Find your new best friend:

1.  Nick

Age: 4 years

Sex: Male

Desexed: Yes

About:  Nick is a calm, quiet, relaxed, respectful and gentle boy around people. He likes a good zoom every now and then, or a nice leisurely stroll, and enjoys playing with toys (particularly balls & stuffed toys). He wants a quiet life to enjoy his retirement. Enjoys having a routine and is confident once he knows it.

Usually walks on a loose lead but can be strong on lead when seeing other breeds (getting better each day). He finds the world a bit scary at times, which makes him unsure, and I can shut down if it's too much. However, with love and support from his human, he is getting confident.

Good to know: Still learning other breeds of dogs and get excited by them and could live with other greyhounds or a large/medium confident dog to help show him the world. Never been tested with cats or pocket pets.

  • Children 6+ as he can be nervous at times and don’t enjoy being stared at or hugged
  • Could also live alone
  • Apartment or small yard suitable.

2. Sherman

Age: 5 years

Sex: Male

Desexed: Yes

About: Sherman is a cuddly, affectionate, super playful, and energetic boy that enjoys some weird sleeping positions. He loves people and saying hello to everyone he meets but doesn’t always have the patience to stand around and wait while people are talking. He can be strong on lead but loves going for walks. Enjoys zooming and is super playful with his toys, after which he does enjoy a good relaxing snooze.

Good to know: He is good with medium/large dogs and could happily live with them. He is good with little dogs but is still learning how to play with someone that is smaller than him. No pocket pets and he has never been tested with cats.

  • Not recommended for apartments unless an active lifestyle
  • Good with children 5+ and would love an active family to play with
  • Could be an only dog but does enjoy playing with his doggy friends or could live easily with a medium/large dog.

3. Shirley

Age: 4 years

Sex: Female

Desexed: Yes

About: Shirley is a happy, friendly, sweet, cuddly and affectionate small girl. She can be excitable at times, but settles quickly and is a clam, quiet, lazy and respectful girl. Adores people and wants to be around them and is an expert at leaning on them. She expects pats and cuddles from everyone she meets.

She is a serious explorer off lead before coming to hang with people but does like playing with toys every now and again. She is a loose lead walker but can cross in front of you at times, loves food and going for walks. She isn’t big on zooming and travels well in cars.

Good to know: Shirley is still learning other breeds and is not muzzle exempt. She is fine on lead walking in a group with other breeds but does not like being approached and is still very rude in her greetings. However, is perfectly fine with other greyhounds on and off lead.  No pocket pets or cats.

  • Recommend as an only dog household or with another greyhound for company
  • She is suitable for an apartment or small yard
  • Children 5+ years old.
