At TAFE SA we support women to follow their passion and break down stereotypes. We can help women connect with other tradie women and provide support to deal with problems or barriers.

Traditionally there have been low numbers of women training and working in many trades. This can make it harder for women entering those trades.

We know that more women in trades creates better and more inclusive workplaces. We are here to support you.

Trades Women Australia – Tradeswomen Australia Group is working to increase the representation of women in skilled trade roles.
National Association for Women in Construction (NAWIC) - Empowering and championing women in the construction and related industries.
National Association for Women in Construction - SA Chapter - represents women of all ages who have chosen a career in construction, increasing the profile of women, inspire diversity, and support women in their chosen construction-related careers. Link up and network with your industry in South Australia
Women in Male Dominated Occupations and Industries (WIMDOI) - An initiative of the Communications, Electrical, Plumbing Union (CEPU SA), WIMDIO is an affirmative action group encouraging the recruitment and retention of women into male dominated occupations and industries.
Supporting And Linking Tradeswomen (SALT) - support, mentoring and connections for tradeswomen, apprentices, and women seeking to work in the trades.
The Lady Tradies Australia - A site to promote, support, connect and encourage women and girls in Trades and Non-Traditional Roles.
