Have you heard about the new scholarship that has been established to assist FFT students experiencing financial hardship?

The Fee Free TAFE Incidental Costs Scholarship can help cover a portion of what you pay for the ‘incidental’ costs associated with your FFT course (things like special equipment, protective clothing, uniforms, police clearance or similar requirements).

To be eligible, you must:
  • Be currently registered into a Fee Free Course with TAFE SA.
  • Provide a valid concession card to TAFE SA for verification.
  • Have already incurred or will be incurring incidental costs associated with your Fee Free Course with TAFE SA in the current semester.
  • Not have received scholarship assistance where the total amount exceeds $185.00 for one qualification.
  • Be experiencing financial hardship.

Eligible students can apply for up to a total of $185.00 for incidental costs associated with a FFT course over the life of the course.

If you are enrolled in two Fee Free courses simultaneously, you can apply for incidental costs associated with more than one course if eligible.

However, you are limited to applying within the semester during which the expense is incurred.

Please note that Scholarship funding is limited and applications will only be successful if funds are available, regardless of eligibility.

If you are experiencing financial hardship and meet the criteria above, visit our website to apply for a Fee Free TAFE Incidental Costs Scholarship
