The Lifeblood Tertiary Challenge has closed, and the official results are in.

We are pleased to report that TAFE SA came first against other TAFEs nationwide with 173 individual donations, and we ranked fourth among all participants in South Australia!

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood has also informed us that TAFE SA came second in the growth category. This category is against other TAFEs and all teams participating in the Challenge nationwide. TAFE SA had an amazing 82.1% growth from our official 2022 result of 95 to this year’s high of 173.

What a fantastic result that TAFE SA students have contributed to!

Now that the Tertiary Lifeblood Challenge has closed and we are six months into our life-saving quest, TAFE SA students and supporters can still save lives.

We aim to achieve 508 donations in 2023 and, as of 1 July, have clocked up 303 blood and plasma donations.  This achievement is the equivalent of saving around 909 lives.

Whether you’re donating for the first time or a regular donor, we need you onboard to reach our target.  To participate, click here and make sure to select TAFE SA as your team (search for team TAFE SA in preferences).

Every donation you make for the rest of the year goes towards the Team TAFE SA tally.
