An urgent blood search is underway for local Adelaide mum and TAFE SA student Amira. She is critically ill at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and desperately needs matched donors to enable her to have the life-saving surgery she requires. 

Eligible Australians with 0 or A blood types are being urged to donate blood to help save Amira’s life.  

With potentially just 1 in 10,000 donors eligible, we’re urgently calling out for as many people – new and existing donors - to roll up their sleeves, give blood, and be tested as a match.
