Below is a short introduction of some of the students who will be working in partnership with us this year, discussing issues that are important to our students.
CauthanCertificate IV in Information Technology (Programming)
Hello everyone. I'm Cauthan, an International Student at TAFE SA. I joined TAFE SA at the beginning of 2022, and the past few months have been a wonderful experience for me. Being a student centric person, I enjoy helping and interacting with fellow students. I endeavour to try and have unbiased views of what is important to all students so that I can represent all views and opinions. I believe in constant student consultation on what actions they want to happen. Joining the Student Voice group will give me the chance to interact with my fellow students, seek and share their opinions, views and needs with the TAFE SA administration.
ElishaCertificate III in Womens Advocacy
Introduction:
Hey everyone. I am a current student at Adelaide Campus - It has been an eye-opening experience and a rollercoaster of a journey so far (but in a good way!). I love learning and improving my skills, as well as interacting with others! I enjoy nature, music, games, theme parks and traveling. Through personal experiences I am an advocate for mental health, disability discrimination and anti-bullying. I am very excited to be a Student Voice Representative and I look forward seeing you around campus and lending an ear if you would like to chat. I am a very passionate person who enjoys coming up with creative and fun ways to build strong bonds in whatever environment I'm in, and I hope to incorporate my creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to make student life better and more fulfilling in TAFE SA.

Introduction:Hi all, my name is Kashay. I am a current student & staff member of TAFE SA. A status, I am very pleased to announce! I am very passionate; I enjoy helping others & inspiring the aspirations of individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals. I hope we can all Learn it. Work it. to enjoy the journeys we create for ourselves by being actively involved in our studies. I hold experience/ skills in leadership that I can use to assist & motivate others to productively perform a task. In the past, I was a senior mentor/academic representative for first year undergraduates at the University of South Australia. The skills, experience and knowledge I gained will continue to help me connect with TAFE SA Students and provide a more insightful experience.

My goal as a student voice representative is to be a point of contact for anyone who needs a listening ear and to further make TAFE SA a more inclusive and enjoyable environment. Introduction:I am currently a first year acting student at the TAFE SA Arts Campus. I have always been the kind of person who just wants to help others. So when I saw the applications for Student Voice I thought this is perfect for me. I am looking forward to seeing what changes I can make for the better in the future.

Introduction:Hi there! My name is Amelia and I am in my final semester of my Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Acting). Before coming to TAFE SA I was a singer and music tutor and decided to expand my horizons by studying acting. I have joined Student Voice this year so that I can help out fellow students and ensure they get the best learning experience possible while studying at TAFE SA.

Introduction:Hey team!Long story short I did hospitality/bartending for 10 years and I got sick of seeing the detriment that drugs and alcohol have on the community up close so I decided hey, why not do something about it? Que career change and here I am! My goal is to become a qualified RN and work in the public sector for mental health to support those who need it most.Personally, I have lived experience and have been a vocal advocate for years now. I run fundraisers for Beyond Blue and The Black Dog Institute and am very passionate about doing what I can to support the people around me. I also volunteer for Sea Shepherd Australia (time permitting) to go around cleaning up our beautiful beaches and at music festivals around Australia.If you see me floating around campus don't be scared to grab my attention, I'm always down for a chat about anything! I'm a sucker for animals, music, plants and the occasional cocktail when I'm out with friends :)

Introduction:For over 30 years I have been elected by the residents of Northfield Ward in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield to represent them on Council. In that time, I have gained a lot of experience in listening, skills in problem solving, collaboration and delivering program performance. I am especially keen to be a voice for mature age students and look forward to hearing about what's important to you.

Introduction:I am Lilly from China with 30 years’ experience in teaching in China and Singapore. I am self-employed as a dry needle practitioner and massage therapist since 2017 (in Adelaide). I’ve been studying at TAFE SA since 2016. The Student Voice is a good way to communicate with students. I excited to begin my new chapter as well as helping more people.
