NAIDOC Week 04-11 July 2021

Jun 30, 2021

NAIDOC week is a chance to celebrate the culture, history and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People, and is celebrated by Australians from all walks of life.

In 2021, the theme of NAIDOC week is ‘Heal Country’ which recognises the inherent importance that Country has to the Identity and lives of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander People.  Learn more about the Heal County theme on the NAIDOC website.

NAIDOC week is a great opportunity to get involved in a range of activities to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community.  You can find out more about your local community events through your council, as well the NAIDOC SA Website.

This year’s poster and visual image is created by Maggie-Jean Douglas, called ‘Care for Country’.
